Celeste Jewellery original design, please do not criticise if you do not like it. The design inspiration comes from a 1960s Van Cleef & Arpels ring, with 18K yellow gold condensed into a “rope”. Golden cords thread through large diamonds, paired with a golden South Sea pearl. The client specially found a golden pearl and sent it to us so we could complete the design. This ring has also undergone ongoing craft improvements and upgrades...

The client asked us to recreate an identical style. Curious about the reason, we learned that this was a sapphire ring the client chose with her grandmother when she was three. This ring has rested on her grandmother’s finger for more than twenty years. When recreating the mount, we even copied the old traces in the openwork curves, making only the gold strands more resilient and the edges more fitting.
